This summer I walked under the burning light.
I didn‘t search for shadows.
I exposed myself to what I would have avoided before.
The noon sun covered me like a shelter.
Mutations were ongoing throughout my body.
I twisted thoughts, reflected
by the silver surface of the sea.
What made me lose awareness
during the year?
Which were the blind spots
covering my eyes?
Lizards were stirring on both sides
of the road.
In the morning news there had been
a forest fire alert.
The street in front of me was leading down
towards the coast.
Where was the junction between truth
and imagination?
On the stelae of my tongue lost words were hidden.
The passers-by on their mopeds stared at me
as if I was a tourist.
